My module reflections

My Learnings

In Application Design I, I have gained invaluable insights into the intricate process of creating meaningful and user-friendly applications. One of the key takeaways from this module is understanding that designing an app involves much more than just aesthetics or functionality—it’s about addressing real user needs and pain points.

Throughout the course, I learned the importance of collecting user feedback early and consistently. By doing so, I could better understand the struggles and expectations users face when interacting with an app. This feedback became the foundation for identifying pain points and refining the design to provide practical solutions. The iterative process of revising designs based on user input emphasized how crucial it is to maintain a user-centered approach throughout development.

This module also taught me to balance technical constraints with creative problem-solving, as every decision impacts the overall user experience. From wireframing to prototyping, I now appreciate the depth of thought required to ensure the app’s design aligns with user goals while remaining functional and visually appealing.

Overall, Application Design I has broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to create applications that not only meet but exceed user expectations, preparing me for future challenges in the field.
